They have great foods yet fresh foods I pretty much live couple blocks away from the store and the whole setting has been put differently. They nearly have everything I need I LOVE THEM!! Hey guys,

Likely they'll just switch to the 7/11. I'll miss the 50th St Market. I'm sure it made most of its money on beer and cigarettes, but we regularly bought milk and juice and kitty litter. The kids bought their lollipops and popsicles there. I'm not looking forward to patronizing the 7/11. Nor am I looking forward to an empty storefront attracting graffiti and trash. I always imagined the amount of change they must give to bank every week, what with all their customers paying in spange. good riddance!

The traffic is lower and there is outside seating (dog friendly) at Meridian Market. I have to admit I'll wander over there for an odd item while out on a walk with our border collie. I've not been comfortable about tieing the dog outside 50th Street Market, with the traffic and all. What should go there now?? I’ll bet Doug is right.

I wandered over to 50th Street Market since I was a kid, when we moved here in '64. It was the place Mom would send me in-between the big trips to Food Giant.
