There's always i-booze.com, which delivers to all zip codes in Seattle. They only deliver booze and cigarettes though at the moment ... but they deliver it within an hour!

How is Amazon Fresh on expiration dates? I liked Home Grocer, but haven't liked any service since because it seems like the expire dates on things like bread and dairy are always only 1-2 days away. That just annoys me.

Yeah, when Kozmo.com would bring me a Pasta & Co. Mac & Cheese tray and a pint of Ben & Jerry's, life was good . . . /pour40

We used Safeway for groceries for a while but their site sucked, their selection sucked, and they frequently made substitutions or omissions. So far Amazon Fresh is great.

@Maika, I agree. I loved Home Grocer, and Web Van (which took it over) was inferior in all ways. I've used SPUD (Small Potatoes Urban Delivery), which has a pretty nice selection of organic everything and a lot of local items, but I find the quality of the fruits and veggies to vary. I also get more mistakes in my orders. I'll have to give Amazon Fresh a try, I guess.

While I never used My Lackey, I actually still have a Home Grocer magnet on my fridge. It was a very sad day at my house when that business failed. Their service was great and so was the quality of the groceries. I tried the delivery services offered by Albertson's and at least one other big company, but the service and selection just couldn't compare. Amazon Fresh is the first thing that holds a candle to homegrocer.com. Thank goodness for them. I love it.
