I love the store and have been somewhat amazed/delighted that such a full-service emporium continues on. My dollars are definitely going there.

I want to say that Wide World was never “on the ropes” in a financial sense. It was only that I wanted to sell the store to enter a new phase in my life and yes I did consider closing the store but not because of poor business.

Wow! I’m glad they’re “safe”.. I make a purchase there ~3 times/year, but would miss them if they closed..

Thank goodness for the new owner. I love that store and it’s nice to know it’s sticking around for a while longer. Reminds me I have some maps I need to pick up. Off to Wide World!
