Worried that Seattle’s wet winter is depriving you of your dark and handsome looks just as we creep onto Valentine’s Day? Tropical Tan (the tanning salon next to Q Lube, that replaced Electric Beach) is offering free tans Valentine’s Weekend, no purchase necessary, February 12 – 14. Says they: “Each customer can come in and tan one time for free on either a level 1 bed, or our mystic spray tan booth. One free tan per day, for three days, up to three free tans per customer. They have to use the tans when they come in and can’t save them for later.”

Wait, Electric Beach was replaced by another tanning salon? At least the new place is offering the spray tans, but still I don’t think this is a business the community should support.

I would rather that shop be there than for the building to be vacant. I have less of a problem with a place selling tans than I do with a place selling cigarettes (that is, I have almost no problem with either).
Nice offer, but I gotta have my pasty-white tone to prove I’m a real Seattlite.
wooooOoo Free?! Sounds super awesome
I definitely will go and make myself prepared for the coming sunshine!
