I will always frequent Wallyhood for the grassroots feel but I've already found a couple cool scoops on mywallingford.com. Google has bicycling directions now?!

I checked it out. Eh... no thanks. And I don't like how they just reused the myBallard name, as if Wallingford can't even earn its own special blog title.

Thanks Jordan -- and all the other Wallyhood writers -- for maintaining this blog and contributing to the uniqueness of Wallingford.

We will stick with the "hood" :). Why this kind of competition?

I know neighborhood blogs are good and all, but you've clearly got the Wallingford thing down. I've seen a sad decline in there main page posting in all their hood's (and an increase in advertising costs) in NDM, it seems to me that they are more in it for the revenue then the news.

Hmm, I guess the neighborhood's iconic sign is obligatory for Wallingford blogs. Wallyhood's masthead is a little more creative with it, though, plus the background is a nice shout-out to us Lower Wallingfordites. And your name is better. And you have more personality. So I think I'll stick around, at least for now. :-)
