Shop Local on Small Business Saturday

Forget Black Friday or Cyber Monday, and shop this Saturday without leaving Wallingford. The third annual “Small Business Saturday” is happening this Saturday, November 24.

And if you want to save $25 while you shop on Saturday, American Express card members who enroll their cards in the Small Business Saturday program will receive a $25 credit on their statement when they use the enrolled card on a single purchase of $25 or more from a participating small business. You can learn more about the program here.

Here’s a list of some local businesses participating in AMEX promotion during Small Business Saturday. Of course, all locally-owned, small businesses should get the love; but there’s no harm in wanting to save $25 bucks in the process, is there?
