The Wallingford Chamber of Commerce spent some time this weekend cleaning the streets of leaves and debris, as they have in years past. But, with the transfer station in south Wallingford closed, there’s no easy way to dispose of the collected waste. Colleen Kurke, who is spearheading the effort, has piled the bags by her Cutz Meridian salon and asked if we would put a shout out for volunteers who would pick some up and fit them into their own bins.
