More trouble at 4338 Latona. Back in April, regular readers (and neighbors) may remember there were reports of gunfire (which the residents denied) followed by an outdoor scuffle during a large party (Incident on Latona). Wallyhood tipster Joe alerted us that Perche No (1319 N 49th St), which suffered a terrible kitchen fire several months ago (Say it ain't so, Perche No! | Wallyhood) is re-opening May 15th! Great news, the restaurant business is tough enough without fires making it harder. We've got a note in to the owners asking for more deets and will keep you posted.
