Sadako Returns

Sadako, the iconic bronze sculpture of the Hiroshima survivor that has graced our side of the University Bridge, was vandalized this past summer. We just heard that she's come home again, fixed and fit. Alan Berner of the Seattle Times shot some beautiful photos of her repair and return: Sadako Sculpture Returns. Welcome home. Seattle Schools’ Capacity Management Update

Well, it looks like the option to shuffle incoming 6th graders from Hamilton International Middle School off to a "6th Grade Academy" in Green Lake is a thing of the past.
