Last Saturday (4/13/2019) my husband found a soggy pile of mail on our property. He called the post office to report it and the regular delivery person finally picked it up yesterday. It was mostly junk mail, as is all our mail these days, but there were letters addressed to people on Meridian and Corliss Ave that had been torn open. Our house is at the corner of 44th and Meridian, so perhaps it was a convenient place to dump it after the thief had gone through it.
Don’t know what the post office will do with it, but if you think you may be missing mail from last Friday, you might want to inquire at the Wallingford P.O.
