I want to find a great used car for my friend. She wants: automatic, 4 door hatchback or wagon, well-maintained, low miles, and, I can dream, can’t I: one owner, a sunroof, and NOT black, grey or white (I can use a spray can—ha!), +/- $6K. Let’s make a deal!
Mrs Frank has a Subaru Forester she might be selling to a colleague – but if she hasn’t I will have her check this out.
It’s a 2006 with extraordinarily low miles (50k – elderly in laws who never drive) and apart from a couple of bumper scuffs is in excellent condition, never a single issue.
Oh wait, it’s silver. Is that too gray?
I so wish I was said friend! I have been looking for over 7 months for this same car (same criteria, have to accommodate my pup with a hatch back, as well as get to the mountains) – except totally not picky on color (I actually love white and silver, my last three subarus have been those colors). My last subaru was totaled about 8 months ago when we were sideswiped and spun out on snoqualmie pass. luckily we walked away with minor injuries (not so lucky for the cars). I miss my suby… I’d love to see mrs frank’s car, but realize that might be stepping in on your post, sarah3d. mrs frank’s car would be my dream (if not already sold to said colleague). You are a good friend sarah3d, want to car hunt for me, too? 😉
Hi Frankie, if it’s not too late, YES! My friend loves Subarus. Me too. How do we get in touch? (I checked back several times and gave up, until today…) And thanks, ktmtlady, for your story and manners.🤝
My friend found a car today and bought it. A Nissan, I think. So, a happy customer. Thank-you all!
