Bottleworks Tasting Tuesday

Jordan Jordan February 1, 2009 2 Comments

Sez the Bottleworks blog:

You may have heard that Port Brewing/Lost Abbey’s Tomme Arthur will be in Seattle this coming week. The man needs no introduction as one of the most well-respected and well-known figures in the American craft brewing industry.

Well, we had not heard, and, to be honest, had we heard, we probably would not have remembered, since despite his being a man who needs no introduction, we had not heard of him. But then we are not part of the brewerati, so there is undoubtedly much we do not know.

Here’s what we do know: Tuesday Feb 3 from 4:30 – 6:30, Tomme will grace the streets of Wallingford and pour cold ones from Bottleworks’ collection of Port Brewing / Lost Abbey beers. $1 gets you a full flight.

Yeah, I probably should’ve said “the man needs no introduction if you’re a beer geek/douche/snob/obsessive.” It’s not like he’s on the cover of Time magazine or anything.

Thanks for linking us up. It should be a pretty cool tasting.
