Suggest a Story

Something happening that Wallingford residents should know about? Got a story idea? Please tell us!

There’s just three things for you to consider first:

  • Is it in Wallingford? We generally restrict stories to things that are happening in Wallingford. That means if there’s a cheese festival going on downtown, even though Wallingford residents probably do like cheese, we probably won’t run a cheese festival story. If it’s walking distance, we sometimes stretch, but usually the answer will be no, sorry.
  • Is it for financial gain? If your cheese festival is free we’ll cover it for free, but if there’s a $20 cover then we need a bit of quid pro quo before we help you get the word out. For commercial interests, please advertise with us.
  • Who do we credit for the story? While we encourage all voices to speak out, we like to say who is speaking out, especially if we can’t fact check what’s being said. If you’d prefer to remain anonymous when you send mail to us then be sure that you say that in your mail- otherwise, anything written to us may be published and credited to you.

Sound good? E-mail us with your story text or idea at [email protected]. Thanks for helping out!
