Art Sale at Melrose Building

Jordan Jordan April 30, 2009 Comments are off

We’ve always been curious about that brick building at the corner of 42nd Ave NE and Meridan Ave. School? Apartment? Jail?

Artist studios! And we hear from Michelle that four of the artists will be holding an open house / art sale this weekend, Friday May 1st 6 – 9pm and Saturday May 2nd 11am – 8pm:

  • Michelle Rak:  Leather Handbags (below right), Aprons and Handmade soap
  • Janusz Pozniak: Blown Glass (below left)
  • Heather Kraft: Reclaimed vintage china
  • Rachel Rader:  Glass Brooches

And if you stop in, be sure to say hi to Sandy, that sweet dog laying out and greeting passersby from the 42nd St side door.
