Pride Week @ Changes

Jordan Jordan June 26, 2009 2 Comments

It’s Gay Pride Weekend, Sunday marks the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, and Wallingford is not going to let Capitol Hill have all the fun. Changes (2103 N. 45th St), our one and only gay bar, will be celebrating with some sort of tropical themed weekend, including a Pride Luau BBQ Celebration on Saturday, tropical drink specials and noon to 2 am happy hour all week (except Sunday, when you’ll have to wait until 2 pm for happy hour).

We’ve got to say, whatever your preference, there’s no better place to be on Gay Pride Weekend than a gay bar. Go on, try it.

Thanks for the suggestion! We dropped by for happy hour (and happy it was — 3 stiff drunks for under $20.) Wait, typo! Stiff DRINKS!

Anyway, thanks for mentioning, Mr. Wallyhood. It was very cool to hang out at a local GLBT establishment. I’ll be back!

Thanks for posting this. I too enjoyed some drinks during the weekend happy hour. Cute place actually, can’t believe I haven’t been in before!
