Don’t forget, the Wallyhood-sponsored auction isn’t the only fundraiser for the Wallingford Senior Center. This Thursday November 19th from 6 – 8 pm, the Wallingford Chamber and Community Council are putting on a fundraiser with live music, a raffle, food and more, at the Good Shepherd Center (4649 Sunnyside Ave N):
Support clean pole Wallingford! We do not want to look like Ballard. Lo-Fi needs to be fined for using glue,(prohibited),on the box in front of QFC. A wire brush works well when they are wet from rain. I will post the SMC number that has to do with postering when I find it.
I, for one, have been very frustrated at my posters getting pulled down as fast as I can get them up. I was hoping to build a community conversation and resource, but in the name of clean poles, somebody is making it very difficult to communicate with the community.

Hey Steve, be sure to check out this Wallyhood post on postering (and the resulting comments):

I support free-speech pole Wallingford. I do not want to look like Bellevue.
(And I’m not sure that glue is prohibited as a utility box fixative according to SMC 15.48.105)
