For the non French speaking luddites among us (like me), here’s what the Microsoft Translator has to say about this.

Friday, March 26 at 7: 00 pm at the Good Shepherd Center (4649 Sunnyside Ave n.), the monthly Ciné-Club the Alliance Française of Seattle offers film “Mr Ibrahim and the flowers of the Koran”. The Ciné-Club is sponsored by Scarecrow video. Admission is free for members of the Alliance, but a $ 5 donation is appreciated to non-members. Many just attend this movie while enjoying a moment of conviviality.

Lonnie Tristan Renteria, Director and producer, will discuss social history and the importance of the Quebec film in North America. This presentation will be supplemented by the projection of the Québécois C.R.A.Z.Y. film that emphasizes family tensions that may be present with a Quebec family. Aspects cultural, religious and linguistic controversy of this company are also discussed.
