Wallingford Inn Madness

Jordan Jordan December 10, 2009 3 Comments

2809087149_991d566470We got an e-mail from Forrest last night, who spotted something up at the Wallingford Inn:

I saw (what looked to be) prep for a pretty hefty undercover bust of the Wallingford Inn on 45th & Aurora as I got off the bus…Drugs? Looked pretty serious.

Yep, drugs and more. Here’s a snippet from the full story on the Seattle Crime blog:

A man wearing a Seahawks’ Lofa Tatupu jersey was arrested in Greenlake on Wednesday, December 2nd, following a drug-fueled rampage, in which the suspect assaulted a patron in an area motel, impersonated a police officer, and kicked a door open during an attempted robbery.

Trouble began around 9 p.m. when the suspect kicked in the door of a room at the Wallingford Inn, demanding money from a hotel guest, who apparently told the suspect that he didn’t know what the hell he was talking about. When the guest tried to dial 911, the suspect pushed his finger down on the receiver, stating “I love starting trouble” and “You don’t need to call the police.” […]

According to occupants of a room at the Seattle Motor Inn, the suspect pounded on their room door, identifying himself as a Seattle police officer before barging his way in. The suspect then used a comforter to smother the face of a woman lying on a motel bed, demanding money while telling occupants that he would “break their skulls.” He also put on a pair of brass knuckles and punched a wall, attempting to intimidate the occupants into giving him money .

Brass knuckles and crack don’t mix.
