Jailbreak!  Chickens on the loose!  In the raised bed nibbling on garden greens.

Seattle early-fall specialty.  Green tomatoes.  (Can you spot more chickens behind?).

This is exactly what my daughter would look like if she met the Medusa and turned into stone.

Free firewood.  Must have chain saw.

Helen has lived in Wallingford for 16 years and think it’s the best neighborhood in Seattle, possibly the world. She has worn a track between her house, QFC and the library and spends a lot time poking her nose into things. She is a mother, does volunteer work and is interested in local, green and child-related issues. She has an advanced degree in English literature and thus reads a lot and enjoys the craft of writing.     Sorry! That’s not free firewood, just my idea of a joke. Please don’t go to that house and take their wood.
