Izilla’s Family Picnic Party Series

Rachel May 19, 2011 1 Comment

Have you ever walked by the west side of Wallingford Center and wished that someone would take advantage of all that open (usually empty) patio space?  Well, Izilla Toys will be doing just that with their new summer picnic party series.  Here are the details from the folks at Izilla:

We’re celebrating summer by hosting monthly parties in and around our Wallingford Center shop. Pack a blanket and a picnic dinner (or bring some delicious Chutney’s takeout) and soak up some evening sun on Wallingford Center’s beautiful west-facing patios. One Thursday evening a month from 5:30 to 8 pm we will bring in an awesome children’s entertainer or put on some super fun activity. Then, when the dinner entertainment is over, come inside for face painting, balloon tying or lots of other awesome activities. There will also be Wallingford Center Merchant deals, discounts, and raffles!

Sneak peek of coming months: Solstice Party, Le Tour de Zilla trike/bike race, Back to School Celebration. Don’t miss the fun and FREE events!

The first Picnic Party will be on Thursday, May 26th from 5:30 to 8:00, rain or shine.  The entertainment includes:

  • Richard “Twist,” Balloon Artist & Giant Bubble Maker.  After his show, Richard will be inside twisting amazing balloon creations.
  • Professional Face Painter Ryan Alley will be on hand to paint faces and apply glitter tattoos.

Izilla will have a different basket of prizes (including goodies and gift certificates from Wallingford Center merchants) for raffle at each Picnic Party event.
