Lost and Founds

Every time we post a “lost and found”, we find there’s so much out there that’s been lost. Maybe we could do a weekly “round-up” of lost items and pets. Here are two more.

my dance bag was stolen out of my car last night. although the contents were only valuable to me – i’m hoping it was dumped somewhere when whoever took it saw it wasn’t worth much. please keep your eyes peeled for a largish black leather bag with a red lining, some high top black, dance sneakers, pink ballet slippers, notebook, receipts for dancewear, scraps of paper with dance notes etc. thanks, annie

Our cat has been missing since the morning of 5/11. He has never stayed out longer than 1 day, so being gone this long is unusual.

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore. I moved out of Wallingford for a few years (2020 - 2025), but I'm back, now living with my wife, son and dog (Dillinger) up in Tangletown.

There is a note on a mailbox in front of PO about a lost cat.. and a found cat notice on 43rd & Woodland Park. Ididnt focus on the animal info, maybe this may help.

Yes, I broke my posting ban.

when our cat disappeared once, it turns out he had gone into a neighbors garage and was stuck there until they opened it again. I hope you find Nameer.

Nameer came home yesterday after 7 days. I believe he was trapped in something. He lost a lot of weight, is dehyrated, has sores around his eyes, and frayed claws, but he’s doing ok. We’re very happy to have him home! Thank you for your concern.

So glad to hear Nameer is home! Hope he is back to good health and feeling warm and safe very soon.
