Food Swap

We’ve had a few last minute cancellations for this Saturday’s food swap, so if you’ve got any canned goods, baked goods, pickled goods, preserved goods, frozen goods or just plain ol’ good goods, then pack ’em into a checkered towel, tuck ’em into a wicker basket and head over to Wallingford’s on Food Swap this Saturday at 2 pm. No buying, no selling, just swapping what you’ve got for what others got. Last year, we had  beet shallot vinaigrette, kale pesto, basil pesto, limoncello, pale ale, pickled beets, pickled string beans, stevia, infused butters, carrot onion slaw, chocolate truffles, granola, chili tequila, humus, fresh eggs, Philthy Sanchez sauce, cheesey balled goodness, sour cream, cheese cake, avocado garbanzo chocolate cake, nectarine jam, peppercorn shortbread, and Wallyhood Honey.

We can’t promise all of what will be there this year, except we can guarantee some of Wallingford’s finest honey.
