Stolen Subaru

This weekend, my green 2002 Subaru Impreza was stolen. Since I have heard from a ton of people that cars often turn up in the neighborhood, anyway you might be able to throw this pic of it up on the blog in case someone finds it in the neighborhood? It is pretty easy to identify as I was going to take it into the body shop since it is missing its front bumper (it was clipped by another car recently).

The police officer that I talked to said that Subarus have passed Hondas in auto theft as the thieves have a single key that open a whole bunch of late model Subarus.

Green Subaru, no front bumper. Keep on the lookout.

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore. I moved out of Wallingford for a few years (2020 - 2025), but I'm back, now living with my wife, son and dog (Dillinger) up in Tangletown.

    Update: Car was recovered 5 blocks away with no noticeable damage.
