Community Council Annual Meeting Wednesday, May 29

Wallingford Community Council
Annual Meeting
Wednesday – May 29th – 7:00 PM
Good Shepherd Center: 4649 Sunnyside Ave. N.

WCC will hold its Annual Meeting this coming Wednesday. Larry Phillips, our representative to the King County Council will be the special speaker. Councilmember Phillips will discuss County actions  critical to Wallingford residents such as transit service and the use of county property in our neighborhood.

The Board will also briefly report on its activities over the past year and plans for the future. This is your opportunity to learn about and comment on WCC’s actions in the neighborhood.

The Community Council will also elect new Officers and Board Members for the coming year. If you are a member, please check in at the registration desk to get your voter’s card.

Everyone is welcome.

    It would be very helpful if all WCC open meetings ar eposted here so people know when they are as well as agenda topics.
    I’d appreciate thinking in advance re July 4, Kiddies Parade, Solstice involvement.
    Who is going to clean up Gasworks afterwards?
    Ive lost track again of the Art Nights.. when are they? Who does them?

    The Wallingford Art Walk is the second Wednesday of each month (May through September) from 6-9 pm. Here’s a link for more info: http://wallingfordartwalk.org/

    Starbucks usually sponsors the 5th of July cleanup at Gas Works. We’ll get the word out as soon as we get the information.
