Family Parade and Festival Tomorrow

Jordan Jordan July 5, 2013 2 Comments

Wallingford-Family-Parade-and-Festival-Logo-1024x625I know, you’re barely recovered from the Independence Day hoopla, but don’t forget, there’s more hoopla here in Wallingford tomorrow, Saturday July 6: the 64th Annual Wallingford Family Parade  and festival (née Kiddie Parade), a Seafair parade.

The parade starts at 11 am by the library, proceeds up 45th Street to Meridian, where it will cut over to Meridian Park where the festival awaits. The festival, featuring games, vendors, food and music, runs noon to 5 pm.

Perhaps needless to say, the cross streets between Interlake and Bagley will be closed during the parade.

More details on the Wallingford Family Parade web site.

Anyone know where the music schedule can be found? The link doesn’t have much info. Two stages but no music schedule.

Brian: Don’t know the answer, but the flyer given to neighbors says queries can be made to Kathleen at 206-461-7825 or [email protected]. The flyer also says just one sound stage, which will be amplified. Note re: route: the parade will take a left on Bagley Ave. N. from 45th, not Meridian.
