(Little Free) Book Lust

Kimberly August 10, 2013 8 Comments

To my complete delight, I discovered a new (blue!) little free library in lower Wallingford recently. This prompted me to visit each of Wallingford’s Little Free Libraries (or at least the ones known to this blog). I was surprised to find NONE between 40th and 45th Streets. Can this really be true? Please leave a comment if you know of one that’s missing!

For more on Wallingford’s LFLs, including addresses, see our previous post.

There’s one on Densmore N. & at the top of the 4300 block, east side of the street. One block south of 45th. 🙂

One was set up in the last couple of weeks on N.E. 43rd, somewhere between Sunnyside(?) and Meridian…south side of the street.

We just discovered the one Kathy mentioned–on 43rd, a few houses east of Corliss.

Yesterday we saw one in Ballard that had a stash of SPS bookmarks inside–I thought that was a nice touch.

    Kimberly and other kind neighbors,
Thank you all so much for posting this information about LFLs.
    How absolutely delightful!

I’m currently in the process of building one for 44th and Latona!

The one on 43rd between Corliss and Sunnyside had Moomin books (one of which I’m due to return)! Thanks to the neighbors who create and curate these!
