Future Archaeologists

Jordan Jordan August 26, 2013 3 Comments

We recently received this note. We can not independently verify the facts, but reprint it in its entirety:

email LOGO-BANNER 2 (1)

Future archeologists have left us a series of Letters from the Future, trying to decipher what we were thinking back in the 21st Century.  We, in their past, will find and investigate the various locations and artifacts which apparently will no longer exist in the future.  At each discovery we will present and perform the appropriate Letter from the Future and try to understand their understanding of us.

The artifacts and locations we visit might seem solid and permanent, but they are shards and ruins in the future, so they are actually quite fragile.  We need to be careful about touching or moving them.  As a result, only a small number of very select persons will be able to witness or participate in our performance investigation.

If you would like to be one or more of these select participants, please respond right away to (206) 774-6438, or email crediblethreatworks@gmail.com.  Leave your name, your phone or email contact, the number of select persons you would like to be, and which date you would like to participate.

You will receive a confirmation reply with the password/keycode that you will need to access the location.

LETTERS FROM THE FUTURE will take place twice only:

  • Saturday September 7, 4:00 pm
  • Saturday September 14, 4:00 pm.

Both events will begin at an undisclosed location somewhere in what is currently called Wallingford inside Seattle. No admission fee.

The performance will involve walking about one mile over the course of about 70 minutes.  Dress for walking and for weather, since a little rain will not stop us.   The walking route will end near its beginning.

Only a small number of people will be able to participate. If you’d like to join us, get in touch right away.
