Wallingford Residents – here’s your chance to hear from Mayoral & City Council Candidates prior to the election!

The neighborhoods and Chambers of Wallingford, Fremont, Green Lake, and Greenwood/Phinney are hosting a Post-Primary Candidate’s Forum & Debate
for the 2013 citywide elections for City Council and Mayor’s Office on Wednesday, October 16, 2013, 5:30 – 7:30 PM at Lincoln School, 4400 Interlake Ave N.

The focus of the forum will be on the unique role of neighborhoods in shaping the character and future of Seattle and will feature City Council Candidates as well as the Mayoral Candidates. The North Seattle Chambers and neighborhood organizations invite neighbors to hear from the candidates who advance in each race. Candidates will be given equal time to present their platform and debate a set of pre-determined questions about the issues.

Do you have a question for the City Council or Mayoral Candidates?

If you would like to see the candidates answer a particular question, please register for the debate and provide the question while registering. Your question may be asked during the debate! (We will not be accepting audience questions at the debate.)
If you do not want to submit a question and are not interested in follow up news on the debate, then registration is not required.
Most importantly, you’re encouraged to come to the debate and invite others. This is our chance to show the candidates that Wallingford is paying attention!

Wow, should be an easy choice, A liberal against a Liberal in a Liberal state with a Liberal media, how could you go wrong!

@2: Yesterday, Ed Murray came out against finishing the Burke Gilman Trail Missing Link, so there are some very real issues for people in this neighborhood that the two mayoral candidates differ on.
