Welcome New Sponsor: Cutz Meridian Hair and Art

CUTZWallyhood welcomes our newest sponsor, Cutz Meridian Hair and Art, tucked in that retro funky building behind Murphy’s:

Colleen Kurke, owner and stylist of CUTZ Meridian Hair and Art, opened her first salon in Wallingford July of 2007. She quickly got involved with local organizations and served the business community as a member of the Wallingford Chamber of Commerce. Colleen chaired the first Art Walk in Wallingford in 2008. Continuing to serve Wallingford she later became the President of the Wallingford Chamber 2010 – 2012.

All while growing her hair salon business in Wallingford. CUTZ is currently located in the old APEX building on Meridian Ave N.

CUTZ received the 2013 Seattle Award for Excellence in Hair Coloring.

Education is very important at CUTZ. The stylist’s receive the latest cutting and coloring techniques from the many classes they attend.

“Opening a salon in Wallingford with no clients in 2007 was a challenge but we are still here!”  Thank you Wallingford!

CUTZ features local Artist throughout the year, always open to the public.

Colleen would like to do a special for new clients to CUTZ: Haircut and Moroccan Oil Treatment for $29 reg $70 when they mention Wallyhood.

    Colleen is truly a fine person and professional! She has been very community-oriented as well as building her business and providing hair styling expertise. She also gives others an opportunity to practice and perfect their skills in a supportive environment!
