Welcome New Sponsor: evo

You may have noticed a boarder flipping his way over the Wallyhood “D” in our banner: that would be our way of welcoming our new sponsor, evo Seattle.

muralevo moved their flagship store, specializing in action sports gear and fashion apparel, to 35th and Stone Way last year, sharing space with Joule and The Whale Wins.

Between them, they’ve established a new anchor in southwestern Wallingford, invigorating the area: more than just a ski / snowboard shop, evo carries men and women’s technical outerwear and casual clothing, hosts movie premiers, sells music, hosts parties and throws events. They even have a 450 square foot art gallery that features local artists, brands and athletes art projects and photography, changing monthly.

Heading into their 12th anniversary in business and their first anniversary in Wallingford, they’re celebrating with a huge sale:

Stop by evo Seattle from now until Monday, November 11, 2013 and you will save 20% off clothing, footwear and accessories to start! Plus save 10-20% off all the latest and greatest ski and snowboard gear!

More reasons to head to evo Seattle:

  • See the newest gallery exhibit from Jordan Ingmire on display in the evo Gallery.
  • K2 just put the finishing touches on our South Wall Mural (under construction at right).
  • Take a peek at All Together Skatepark contruction, which is almost complete.
  • Get a Defenders of Awesome DVD for free with a $1 donation to the Service Board.
  • Plenty of FREE Parking!

And, of course, beyond the clothing, art, music, wakeboarding, movies, parties and events, evo features a full tune shop to wax your snowboard and skis, mounting, tunes and repairs.

So, when that first snow comes, and you’re ready to cut fresh tracks on Kite Hill, you know where to go.

Love Evo! Less expensive than REI and much closer to home! Cute clothing too. Also really appreciate the rotating mural, excited each time it changes 🙂
