Family Movie Night at WSCS Tonight

etEmma Bishop from the Wallingford Community and Senior Center asked us to let you know they’ve got dinner and movie tonight:

Family Movie and Spaghetti Night
(Saturday, Jan 25,  5:30 – 8:30 pm. Donations appreciated)
It’s dinner and a movie at WCSC! Enjoy a plate of fresh spaghetti while watching E.T. on our large projector screen. An easy night out for all ages.

What’s for dinner tonight? Why not spaghetti! Tonight at 5:30 pm head over to the Wallingford Community Senior Center (4649 Sunnyside Ave N) for dinner and a movie. This is one of their most popular events and it’s a great chance to share a meal with people in the community. This month, hang out and watch E.T. on their large projector screen while enjoying freshly prepared vegetarian spaghetti. RSVPing by email (register@wallignfordseniors.org) is appreciated but not necessary. You can also call them at 206-461-7825 with questions.

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore. I moved out of Wallingford for a few years (2020 - 2025), but I'm back, now living with my wife, son and dog (Dillinger) up in Tangletown.
