Don’t miss this year’s SPAGHETTI DINNER at St. Benedict!

Join us on Sunday January 26th, 2014 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM in the St. Benedict School Cafeteria. The St. Benedict School 6th grade class will host this classic community gathering to raise funds for Environmental Education at Camp Hamilton. Join us for amazing food and live music. Pasta (with a gluten free option) with vegetarian or meat sauce, bread, salad, and ice cream for dessert will be served all day against a cheerful Italian backdrop. To accompany your meal, wine, beer, and other desserts will also be available for an additional cost in the dining room.

Tickets available at the door — $12 for adults and $8 for children and seniors. Reserve tables for parties of 8 or more by calling 206-851-6246.

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore. I moved out of Wallingford for a few years (2020 - 2025), but I'm back, now living with my wife, son and dog (Dillinger) up in Tangletown.

    It’s the weekend for spaghetti as Wallingford Community Senior Center is having spaghetti and the movie ET Saturday evening. Starting 5:30
