We’re looking for a few good loyal Lynx alumni to become Class Representatives for the Lincoln Lynx Alumni Association (LLAA).  If you like to write, email, text, Facebook, Tweet, network, talk on the phone, or organize get-togethers (some or all of the above) the graduating classes of 1942, 1945, 1946, 1955, 1968, 1976 and 1979-1983 need a representative.  We are looking for individuals who would like to get involved with keeping the memory of Lincoln High School alive and help out by keeping in touch with, gathering stories from fellow classmates and writing for the Totem II (you do not have to be a professional writer…we help with all of that!). This 28-32 page paper, which comes with your $15 annual membership to the LLAA, is published three times a year and is a testament to the Lincoln spirit.  You have a lot of support and resources when you take on the role of Class Representative.  In your role, you, also, represent your graduating class on the Executive Committee for the LLAA.  It doesn’t take much time…only a bit of enthusiasm and desire to keep the Lincoln Lynx spirit alive and well.

If you are interested and would like to know more, please feel free to contact Jackie Bauer King, Class of 1967, LLAA Totem II Editor at[email protected]  or you can find out more about our organization at http://www.lincolnhighlynx.org/

We’d love to have you as part of our team!!

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore. I moved out of Wallingford for a few years (2020 - 2025), but I'm back, now living with my wife, son and dog (Dillinger) up in Tangletown.
