Sage Run

David Lutz of the band Sage Run writes:
I want to invite the Wallingford community to my album release, which I will be having at the Chapel in The Good Shepherd Center.  As a local artist — it is important to me to reach out to the local community.  This music is so near and dear to my heart — I would love for anyone who loves supporting their local musicians to be able to be there.
The album is called, “The Beginning and End of War,” and is an album that centers around the American Civil War.  The sound?  I always laugh when I try to describe it.  I tell people, “If you could mash Mumford and Sons, Linkin Park, and John Barry the soundtrack composer together?  You’d be close.”  The one thing I can tell you is people really love it.  The songs are beautiful.  And this album is for sure the most soul wrenching I’ve done.  A labor of love, but it took everything out of me.

Jordan

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore. I moved out of Wallingford for a few years (2020 - 2025), but I'm back, now living with my wife, son and dog (Dillinger) up in Tangletown.
