The Wallingford Community Council held its annual meeting on May 12th. Congressman Jim McDermott was the special speaker discussing the roots of the current dysfunction in congress and answering questions from the audience. WCC members elected officers and directors. Jim Fryett was elected president.
The first meeting of the Community Council’s new year will be held on Wednesday, June 4th , 7:15 PM at the Good Shepherd Center. Among the items on the agenda will be updates on current neighborhood issues, WCC’s appeal of the project on the former AvTech property, and plans for the coming year.
