Event at Salon Metro / Chocolati

The folks at Salon Metro and Chocolati invite you to visit them today, Sunday June 22nd from 6 – 8 pm:

Come meet experienced stylists in a casual setting June 22nd at the Summer Solstice Night Out at Wallingford’s Salon Metro, featuring wine, small bites, giveaways – and, next door, chocolate!

The event, co-hosted by Chocolati Café, is a great place to get your color, cut and style questions answered. Salon Metro stylists will be on hand as well local jewelry designer Jennifer Stenhouse. Next door, sample a Chocolati Chill, the café’s signature summertime blended drink, plus wine tasting and truffles. Chocolati, with five locations in Seattle, specializes in handmade truffles and espresso.

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same.
