Clothing Swap at Fuerte Fitness

Macklemore-900-600Fuerte Fitness (1225 N 45th St) is hosting a Ladies Night Clothing Exchange & Happy Hour this Thursday, Sept. 11th  6:00 – 9:00 p.m:

This is the event you’ve been waiting for! It’s the best way to clear out your closet and update your wardrobe without spending any money!!!

Attendees are asked to bring in their gently used clothing to include accessories: jewelry, purses and shoes to add to the collective wardrobe on display around the gym. Once all the items have been displayed, the evening begins as the ladies relax with a little food and wine while “shopping” for new items to add to their wardrobe.

This is a free “exchange”, participants are expected to bring clothing to add to the collection. Note: If you can, please bring some food or beverage to add to the nibbles.

Unclaimed clothing will be donated to the Seattle Assistance League located in Wallingford.

(We have no reason to believe Macklemore will be there.)

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore. I moved out of Wallingford for a few years (2020 - 2025), but I'm back, now living with my wife, son and dog (Dillinger) up in Tangletown.
