Wallingford Garage Sales This Weekend

  • Post author:

As promised, here’s the round-up of garage sales in Wallingford this weekend. Come on visit ’em all. Chat with your neighbors.

4065 4th Ave NE (Sat 9 – 3, Sun 9 – noon)
That’s mine. Epic, full of years of Burning Man costumes, lights, furniture, rafts, tools, mens clothes, petite women’s clothes, kids clothes, toys, books, camping gear, motorcycle gear, kitchen gear, appliances, CDs and pretty much everything you ever wanted to find at a garage sale except a broken exercycle. Free plums!

3629 Bagley Ave N (Sunday until 2 pm)
Originally billed as an Estate Sales (“usual low-priced garage sale stuff, plus some antique wood furniture and art that we will be priced accordingly”), this has been upgraded to a multi-family sale, as various neighbors hopped on the bandwagon.

3709 Wallingford Ave N (Fri 1  – 7, Sat 10 – 5)
Multi-family 2 houses. Lots of natural fiber clothes (hemp, organic cotton, hand made and local companies), women’s size 10 shoes, household, books, new age stuff, plants, pots, coffee table and more! Benefit for the family of Sher Kung.

4027 Corliss ave N (Sat 9-3; Fri and Sun hours TBD)
Moving sale. Selling most of my things. Furniture, household items, decor, and kid stuff. Use search term bigsale7 on craigslist to see a few of the many items that will be for sale.

N. 40th St and Woodland Park Ave. N (Saturday 8 – ?)
A variety of things–housewares, kid stuff, some well-curated clothes.

4527 Sunnyside Ave N (Sat 10am – 4pm?)
We’ve cleaned out our basement and garage and lots of goodies to get rid of:  futon, side tables, games, books, kids gear – car seats, strollers, bike seat, kids wooden table and chairs, housewares, clothes and more!
5020 Keystone Pl N (across from Keystone Congregational Church, Sat only, 10 – 3)
Our attic keepsakes are your new things.  Chairs, couch, cabinet, table, futon, frames, housewares, kids toys, linens, men and women’s clothes, women’s shoes size 8.5. Something for everyone.

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore. I moved out of Wallingford for a few years (2020 - 2025), but I'm back, now living with my wife, son and dog (Dillinger) up in Tangletown.

Garage Sales are great but please remember to take down your signs when the sale is over.
