Fuerte Fitness (1225 N 45th St) is celebrating their sixth anniversary with a free party this Thursday, December 4th:

We want to invite you to come celebrate our 6 years in Wallingford and help spread the word to the rest of our neighbors! The event will take place at Fuerte Fitness (1225 N 45th St. Seattle, WA 98103) on Thursday December 4th, 6:30-9:00pm.

We couldn’t have made it this far without your support throughout the years. We’ll be having a fun night filled with food, drinks, giveaways, and karaoke! We look forward to seeing you there!

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore. I moved out of Wallingford for a few years (2020 - 2025), but I'm back, now living with my wife, son and dog (Dillinger) up in Tangletown.
