Partial 45th St Closing Saturday

T.J. Lehman from Mack Urban, the developers building the new complex at 45th and Interlake (no, not the one without parking, the other one) writes:photo-2 (1)It is time for our building at 1321 N 45th St to complete its water main tap in. Unfortunately, that main is on the north side of N 45th Street. People should expect N 45th Street to be partially closed between Interlake and Stone Way from 9 AM to 5 PM on Saturday, February 7th. Seattle Public Utilities will be doing the work, and if things go as planned they think they will be able to do the work in one day and keep one lane open at all times. However, they might need to do some Sunday work as well. Pedestrians will not be impacted and transit will continue to run. Please avoid the area unless you are the parent of a  child obsessed with digging equipment and infrastructure, and those folks are invited to come enjoy the show as long as they keep a safe distance.

We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore. I moved out of Wallingford for a few years (2020 - 2025), but I'm back, now living with my wife, son and dog (Dillinger) up in Tangletown.
