Return of the Goats

Jordan Jordan July 28, 2015 4 Comments

Fences have been erected along 40th starting at Latona and continuing under I-5, which means the goats shall return!

They’ll be there shortly, munching on blackberries and other hard to remove invasive weeds.

Thankfully, the fence posts have been sunk into the ground this year, to avoid a second showing of the Goat Rodeo of 2013.

Ahhhhh! The return of my favorite Wallingford spectator sport! Goat-watching!

(So much more fun than the Blue Angels.)

    Hello All!!

Tammy tjhe Goat Wrangler here from Rent-a-Ruminant LLC. We are looking forward to being back in your neighborhood!! The goaties loved it there. Thankfully no goat rodeo this year with the new permanent fence. Please pass the word to all you know DO NOT FEED THE GOATS ANYTHING!! Many plants that grow around are highly poisonous. I make sure that the goat enclosure is free of any of those but I need your help policing .. If you see anyone feeding the goats please ask them to stop.. The health of my kids is the most important thing!!. Also Please if you tweet, fb or instagram use the hashtag #rentagoat for me if you would.. I love promoting the goats so any fun pics or video you post please include my hashtag.. I Live on site with the herd to care for them. I will be in the small travel trailer under I-5. Please do not attempt to pet my herding dogs. They are working dogs and might just try to herd you and in doing so you may get nipped. If you see anything amiss you can call me at 206-251-1051. I do occasionally leave the site for errands etc.

    Thanks so much everybody!!

Saw the fences this morning. Hoped for goats. Got my wish. A good day.

The goats are great! They were a welcome distraction during my Monday morning march to the bus stop. Thanks Tammy and SDOT for making my day! I can think of a few other spots around the neighborhood that could benefit from some hungry goats.
