Santa Photos

Now that we’re past Thanksgiving, it’s safe to start your winter holiday festivitying, including the iconic Santa photo. Nancy Treder (a Wallyhood sponsor) says she started shooting them when her eldest son was a year old because she never had any Santa photos of herself:

December 5, 6, 12, 13, 19 & 20th. 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Ho, Ho, Ho! What would Christmas be without the annual Santa photo? We’ve learned that local moms love the Wallingford Center Santa experience because of it’s beautifully decorated set for fireside chats next to the tree. Children love the old fashioned wooden toys, rocking horse and cuddly teddy bears that bring out smiles from even the most timid of visitors.

You won’t have to wait in line either because this Santa offers convenient online appointment scheduling and if your little one isn’t ready at your appointment time, the photographers will give you time to regroup and put you at the head of the line when you are ready.

Santa at Wallingford Center sets up shop in the Kerf International Art Gallery on the main floor.

Cost: $30 & up.

Book online at www.nancytreder.com. The first 100 to book online before Dec. 1st receive a free photo ornament (while supplies last.)

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore. I moved out of Wallingford for a few years (2020 - 2025), but I'm back, now living with my wife, son and dog (Dillinger) up in Tangletown.
