Wallingford Family Parade on July 9th ! We need YOU!

Volunteers Needed! We need your help to put up signs before the parade and help on parade day. If you can help, please email [email protected]. High School students will earn community service credit!

Be in the parade! Calling all kids and parents! Register on the day of the parade, come to the muster site at N 45th and Interlake and sign up by 10:30! Watch the parade! Parade starts at 11:00 and ends around 12:00. After the parade play Hide & Seek for prizes with participating merchants along N 45th !

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore.
