Beware! The University Bridge will be closed for resurfacing and maintenance projects from 8:00pm Friday, July 22 through 5:00am Monday, July 25. It will also 
be closed for the same period of time the following two weekends. During the interim, the roadway will be rough, so proceed with caution.
SDOT has a bike and pedestrian detour map here. The suggested detour route over the ship canal bridge is approximately 3 miles. The freeway would be much faster.
