Here is a small list of restaurant changes in our hood.
I snapped this picture of Bar Charlie in the newly finished Bowman Building. It’s not open yet, but it has a Facebook page.
The Brooks Building will be getting a new tenant in the retail space that faces N 35th Street. I saw an application for a liquor license from the Heavy Restaurant Group posted outside. They operate Purple among other restaurants.
Yoroshiku, a favorite of mine when it comes to ramen, will be expanding into the space next door formerly taken by Teahouse Kuan Yin. This information is posted on the specials board inside the restaurant; however, there is no timeline included. The exterior of the building has been repainted so that both spaces are now the same color.
Bizzaro Italian Cafe is celebrating their 30th birthday by holding a block party outside the restaurant on October 1st from 1:00 to 9:00pm. Everyone else celebrates their birthday there so it seems fitting. 1307 N 36th 46th Street.
