I can strongly recommend City Cellars for your wine stuff. They get to know your pallet and have more than once steered me from disaster. And Bodrum Bistro right next to them is a Turkish delight, indeed. Russ and Dawn at Floating Bridge are great folks and the brews are very good.

The Chai beer at Floating Bridge made me a believer in chai! It tastes like Christmas!! Everyone should try it while it’s still available and maybe, just maybe, they will brew it year round!! Help me out, folks! I usually don’t like beer so I need this remain on the menu!!

Bartell’s has been a local community drugstore for over 40 years. Their holiday gifts include fun cards, yummy candies, quite a selection of wines and reasonably priced holiday wrappings. Starbucks in QFC and on 45th have wonderful holiday drinks and as always, a gift card for coffee is welcomed as a gift. There is a Christmas tree vendor in the old Zaw store, west of post office!! Unique gifts are available at Meowtropolis.. get a gift card, a brownie or a game of Mewotropoly!! Wander further and get a yoga giftcard from Seattle Yoga Lounge or Bala on Stone Way N. Aditi Yoga o on stone way also has many massage packages– gift idea/ for someone who has everything? Step out further and get thee to Trader Joes- always unique cookies and candies. PCC has unique candles, gifts, soaps and cards as well as simple stock up on soups and well, who can resist their cookies?

Does anyone know how late the Christmas tree lot at the old Zaw stays open? And if the trees are fresh?
