Fainting Goat Recovery

  • Post author:

If you’ve noticed that things have been a little off at Fainting Goat Gelato recently, here’s the explanation from their Facebook page:

Earlier this month, my wife and I were in a motorcycle accident on Highway 99. With the support of our daughters and the expertise of our medical community, we have undergone a remarkable recovery. For our neighbors and patrons who have noticed a lack in our inventory, responsiveness, and general service, thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time. Your support means so much to our family. If only there was a better reminder to cherish our health and hold on to our loved ones tighter.

The road to recovery is a long one, but we are hopeful and excited to get back to doing what we love.

Thank you.

Yalcin & Sevim

Quick and full recovery to you both!

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore. I moved out of Wallingford for a few years (2020 - 2025), but I'm back, now living with my wife, son and dog (Dillinger) up in Tangletown.

Oh gosh, I am so sorry! Is there anything we can do to help you now? Other than continue to come to your marvelous Fainting Goat?
