Lincoln High School boundaries finalized

Katy February 16, 2018 Comments are off

[Editor note: This short post is the latest in a long line of Lincoln High School coverage in Wallyhood starting back in 2012.  While the community discussions and debates continue about Lincoln, this post is a simple factual update.]

The boundaries for Lincoln High School includes Wallingford, Fremont, and Queen Anne.

Based on community feedback, the school board has finalized boundaries for Lincoln High School.

Lincoln will open in the fall of 2019 with grades nine and ten. In 2020, grade eleven will be added, and grade twelve in 2021. The school board also approved Lincoln as the pathway for highly capable students, which is good news for neighborhood families with highly capable kids. Lincoln will also be the dual language immersion pathway school.

More information can be found on the Seattle Public Schools website, including who gets grandfathered into their current schools, and who will be switching.
