Benefit to Mark International Women’s Day

Jack Jack March 5, 2018 Comments are off

International Women’s Day is Thursday, March 8, and to mark the event, three Wallingford area businesses are forming a “pub crawl” of sorts to benefit NARAL Pro-Choice Washington and the Northwest Abortion Access Fund.

From Dawn at Floating Bridge:

Why: We get one day, apparently, so make it count

What: Support women’s reproductive rights, just by having a pint

Where: 3 women-owned businesses within 3 blocks on 45th St NE. Each business is donating a portion of sales, and if you go to all 3 on 3/8, you get a Floating Bridge pint glass and another free beer at Blue Moon.

The details:

  • Kate’s Pub (309 NE 45th St)
    • 8pm – 2am
    • Donating 20% of sales
  • Floating Bridge Brewing (772 NE 45th St.)
    • 3pm – 10pm
    • Donating $1 per pour
  • The Blue Moon (712 NE 45th St.)
    • 2pm – 2am
    • Donating 15% of sales
