Middle School Meetups During Early Release Wednesdays

dawnoftheread April 28, 2019 1 Comment

Recently, staff from Seattle Public Library went to Hamilton Middle School to find out what students wanted in an afterschool program just for them. Overwhelmingly, we discovered that more than anything else, kids just want an opportunity to just hang out with each other and talk. A close second was an interest in doing crafts or making things.

So, for the first four early release Wednesdays this May, 3-4:30pm, we will be hosting Snack, Chat, Make in the Solid Ground meeting room (across the hall from the food bank). We will provide a different fun, low key activity each week and some pizza.

All Middle Schoolers welcomed!
